Why you should be excited...

A returning star now shines even brighter on our center stage.

Carlos Bedoya and Cristina Loscutova

“[Pieces by Regondi and Villa-Lobos] perfectly demonstrated his technique, dexterity and speed at playing. The former took Bedoya off again to a world of his own, containing only him and his guitar, with quick, complex runs and scales that received thunderous applause.”

Scott Buzby for The Whit Online

“A complete musician that excels in all range of styles.”

Carlos debuted for us in 2017 in our Opening Artist program, warming the stage for our GFA Winner’s Concert with Thibaut Garcia. This concert remains one of our finest to date, in no small part to Carlos’ impeccable playing. Carlos returns 6 years later, now a multi-award winning guitarist and master of his craft. We’re extremely excited to see how far he has come, and can’t wait to have him back on our stage.

Pianist Cristina Loscutova Bedoya joins Carlos this concert for select works.

Works to be performed by Weiss, Rodrigo, Assad, Mompou, Garotto, Falquez, and Gutierrez.
